Wounds & Bleeding
When it comes to bleeding there are 3 types; Arterial, Venous, & Capillary. There are three definitions below but which definition matches the type of bleed?
- Dark Red. Deoxygenated blood that pours from wounds. May flow profusely.
- Oozing occurs at the sight of all wounds. Blood loss tends to be slight.
- Bright oxygenated blood spurts from a wound in time with the heart beat.
There are 6 types of wound;
•Gunshot
•Abrasion
•Laceration
•Puncture
•Incision
•Contusion
